Born without shinbones and toes, Buket Durmuş spent 35 years walking by dragging her feet. Despite this challenge, her determination led her to achieve her dream of becoming an English teacher.

She underwent a life-changing surgery in Adana, where her legs were amputated below the knee and fitted with prosthetics. Experiencing the joy of her first steps, Buket plans to support projects that empower other disabled individuals. Her story is a powerful symbol of resilience, courage, and hope.
